Finger is poised over the download button...

Brandon

YES! Clark on the radio! I must download and listen with much appreciation!

Does anybody else hate hate HATE the sound of their own voice?

Writebrother

The Unseen Killer.... I think that title actually works.

Hopefully you'll get your money's worth with Good In A Room. I'm curious as to what clients are saying about it. What lead to you being on the show with her? Just curious.

Have you done a post about the program you're in with Universal?

Brandon

I could only find a realaudio link on the site. I guess there's no mp3 of the show?

clarkman

Brandon: dang, you may have to use iTunes to get the MP3. I subscribe to The Biz thru iTunes podcasting feature. If there's another way to get the show, I'll let you know.

Writebrother: Hello and welcome! You may get to hear from some of Stephanie's clients in an upcoming ad campaign. Rest assured, she's getting high marks from newbies and pro's alike. And yes, there are some high-caliber screenwriters with tons of credits calling her up. It's reassuring to know they get nervous, too.

To answer your question, Stephanie asked if I was interested in having one of our sessions recorded for the program. We actually had a full 1-hour session, and what you're hearing are excerpts from that. There were several more salient quotes I wish they'd used, but them's the breaks. Overall I think it gives a good overview of what Stephanie does, and I certainly appreciate any opportunity to stand out in this crowded field, even if it's only for 11 minutes.

I'll write about the Univesal/Terra Firma program once we're more underway. So far we've only had one meeting, and I don't think I can say much that you can't glean from their website. Which, by the way, is at www.terrafirmafilms.com, and is also the place where you can apply yourself. The submission process is ongoing.

Writebrother

Thanks for the heads up on the Emerging Writers Program. Once I get a few TV specs and my second feature done I think I'll go ahead and apply. I'm just getting my feet wet so I want to have a few things done before I put myself out there.

Oh my God,

I just listened to it. Your voice was fine. Stop it. And what great publicity. I've read Blackwater, and now I want to read it again based on that interview. Yea!

Writebrother: move at your own pace, that's the wisest advice I've ever been given.

Nes'Tea: say dat one mo' time!

Brandon

If you have the mp3, Clark, would you send it to me at my gmail address when you have the time? I'd still love to hear it.
